International Recreational Boat Certification
ASEA Naval Architects in conjunction with International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) and National Marine Manufacturer Association (NMMA) offers boat manufacturers and owners EU Ce Certification and US Certification.
International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) is an EU based, independent non-profit association notified by the EU Commission for the CE certification of recreational craft, their engines and components. Established in 1993, the institute is committed to add value to the worldwide recreational craft industry by assessing also the compliance of marinas, companies, products, services and business professionals. IMCI uses the highest professional standards of quality and safety and has worked with more than 2700 clients worldwide [2018].
National Marine Manufacturer Association (NMMA) provides Boat & Yacht Certification to boat manufacturers to help ensure their boats are built to applicable standards set by the American Boats & Yacht Council (ABYC), and to promote their compliance to the public.
